How to Use “Hidden Text” in Word to Store Notes Without Printing Them

If you need to add notes, comments, or reference information in your document but don’t want them to appear when printing, you can use the Hidden Text feature. Here is how to do it:

    Step 1

Select the text you would like to hide. Press Ctrl + D to open the Font dialog box and check the Hidden box and click OK.

    Step 2

To unhide the text, select all the text in the document. Press Ctrl + D to open the Font dialog box and uncheck the Hidden box and click OK.

This is great for storing private notes, draft content, or extra references without cluttering your document.
