Using Split Screen to View Large Spreadsheets in Excel
Using the Split Screen command means you can view your spreadsheet in four windows so you can work on one section of your spreadsheet while you view another section; or use it to compare two sections of the spreadsheet side by side.
Step 1
To divide the screen into four equal parts, position the cursor in the center of the spreadsheet.
Step 2
Select View and then Split. The screen then splits into four equal sections.
Now you can use the scroll bars to navigate between the sections of the spreadsheet.
